Mocktails:

I was with a group of 10 so we started with the Mocktails at the bar. The bartenders were quite enthusiastic to mix multiple options for us and creatively serve it.

Pink Pompom or Blue Lagoon? Blue for me!!

Cucumber crunch or Novotel Punch? Crunch for me!!

Let the tangy Sunrise at the Sealink!!

Couldn't pass the Creamy Pineapple.

Oh so average Novotel Punch!!

Apple Fizz Sparkled my face!!

 Go Go Banana!!

Oh! No! Banana Colada!!

This surely spices me up after a long day at work.. Spicy Guava cannot go wrong.

The good looking Blue Mood!

Food

Some soupy affair to start with. Lemon Coriander Chicken soup was an overpowering garlic affair.

Crunchy and tasty was the Thread paneer. Soft & Tender, the paneer was flavoured well and wrapped up in fried crispy noodles. Served with schezwan sauce. I am not a fan of thread dishes but really liked this one and a suggestion for my vegetarians.

Murgh Alishan Kebabs were spiced finger portions of boneless chicken. This Tandoori dish tasted well when dipped in the mint chutney.

Murgh Paprika consisted of big succulent pieces of tandoori chicken tossed in Paprika sauce. My favourite dish of the day and this place. Very tasty and different.

Veg Gulati Seekh Kebabs were finger shaped, stuffed with veggies and cheese. Mildly flavoured and good to eat when served warm.

Green Garlic Chicken was a chindian (Indian -chinese) starter. I don't like anything green like this but trust me don't go on the looks. It was delicious.

Cheese Kurkure Kebabs prepared with potato mash and cheese stuffed, the fried golden brown tikkas were too dry once cold so better to consume when it's served piping hot. I had to dip in mint chutney or the ketchup they serve.

Now comes the mains, Chicken Lahori was tasty and spicy. Tender chicken marinated well and flavourful. This gravy was prepared with an addition quantity of corn flour topped with boiled egg.

Veg Alishaan and Paneer Lababdar gravies were too average. I think they need to work on the taste.

Chicken Khurchan thick gravy dish with generous proportion of extra corn starch.

I tried the tandoori roti, butter kulcha and lachcha paratha. I loved their flaky crispy well made parathas which did not turn soggy or chewy even if it got cold.

Lastly, came the good looking Chicken Potli Biryani which was the show stopper here served with raita. Something I haven't ever had. Chicken so succulent with dum Biryani stuffed beautifully into this layer of tied dough and baked accurately. Oh! So Flavorful. Must try. It's my inspiration from an Arabic dish says executive chef Deepak Negi.

Definitely they need to work on their desserts section. As mithaa zaroori hai after meals.

Gulab Jamun

Definitely they need to work on their desserts section. As good mithaa zaroori hai after meals. May be they should try something in-house. Portions of the dishes were quite good and filling.

Hospitality: Warm and Welcoming staff. Very friendly wearing a smile each time.

The Tasting Tummy Verdict: 3.8/ 5
Good starters and Ambience. It suits the taste buds of the locals of the area. Decent family dinner place. They have tried to come up with dishes which are different and that's what is attractive.
