Pronto

Location : Next to Eros Cinema, Churchgate

Ambiance : When it comes to Pizzas and Pastas the aromas spreads out and all over the place nearby.. You can never resist the herbs and bread getting baked. The entrance is a glass door with a poster of the food menu and few delivery menus.. It is a decent furnished place with a six - seater in front of the Kitchen Door at the ground level and with 9 four - seaters on the first level. The walls are in white and one wall is red which has 3 Wall Frames of CST, Taj Mahal Palace & Towers and the third was of Food Grains. The Tables & Chair are Wooden comfortable but the tables were really low. It would be difficult for a tall person to sit as he would have to bend too much to relish food. This Outlet is bigger, decent and spacious than the ones at Tardeo & Bandra which are merely a hole in the wall. The cash counter is on the first floor which has a collage of food options available here. There are yellow flush lights and head lights in the section painted red and white head lights in the section painted white.

Music : They play mix English soft music of 90's & now. The volume and sound was perfect as per the ambiance.

Food : The Menu consists of Soups, Salads, Bakes, Wraps, Pizzas, Pastas, Buns & Rolls, Mains, Sandwiches, Desserts and Beverages. Althought there are not many good options to select beverages. Its a good sized menu.. not to elaborate not to short.. What we had was....

Soup : Pan Fried Mushroom & Burnt Garlic Soup - this was creamy with crushed and sliced mushrooms and garlic taste to perfection. It was served quite warm.

Garlic Bread with Cheese : The flavour of garlic was good enough. The quality of bread they use is very soft like a bun and was slightly sweet. This is not the bread which is to be used. Anyways the point is that the bread served was with a slightly burnt base which irked my taste buds. Well it wasn't that great but it could fill up my stomach and satisfy my hunger..

Cannelloni Verdure : It was served on a wide mouth white colour glass plate which was kept over a wooden pan for handling. The white plate had old dirty left marks so the presentation was not appealing at all. There was some ingredient which was not fresh and the whole dish tasted awful. The cheese they used looked good but it seemed to be spoiled or old stock. The cheese tasted weird.. Never in my life i have had such a flavoured & textured cheese. We had to actually ask the server and the manager to change or replace the dish with something else. The manager himself tasted the Cannelloni and said it was perfect. In Hospitality customer is the king and they are not allowed to argue back. They should know its not an udipi.

Margherita : with fresh basil and tomatoes in a 8" thin crust. The flavours had of basil herbs & tomatoes was good but it had an issue with cheese. It was juicy enough and tangy to taste. The crust was baked properly

Hawaiian Pizza : Ingredients were Chicken Ham, Roast Chicken, Pineapple, Green Spring Onions and Cheese on the normal tomato spread over a 8" regular crust . It wasn't baked upto mark. This was the driest pizza i ever had. It seems as if they baked the crust separately and cooked the veggies and topped over it.. The veggies were not baked properly. Nor was the pizza good in taste.

Primavera Piquante Pasta : It had wild mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers, Jalapeno peppers, sauted spinach, garlic, fresh basil served in tomato creamy sauce. It was the second dish in the menu we ordered which was actually tasty and sated us.
The veggies were fresh, cheese was perfectly tossed with creamy sauce. They had also sprinkled Parmesan cheese which is one of my favourites.

Beverages : i called for a coke can. i actually wanted an ice tea but they had premixed options in lime only.

Hospitality : The servers and manager were hospitable and friendly. The service was not to quick not to slow.

Overall Experience : Average

Will Return : Only if there are no options as the place always has availability and no waiting.

Burrp Level : 2.5/5
